Lawrence Talbot, a cursed writer, returns to his family's home after his brother disappears. He reunites with his estranged father and they begin searching for his brother together. He soon realizes the terrifying fate that awaits him.
Talbot's childhood ended the night his mother died. After leaving the calm, small village of Blackmoor, he spent years trying to forget the event. However, years later, he is brought back to this village to search for his missing brother upon receiving news from his fiancée, Gwen Conliffe.
Soon after, he learns of a powerful, beastly creature that has been viciously killing the villagers, and Scotland Yard inspector Aberline suspects foul play and arrives in the village to investigate.
